Bruce Payne began his journey in the building industry at the age of 18, apprenticing under Neville Greaney in Motueka. With a foundation built on solid training and dedication, Bruce’s career spans over four decades. His commitment to excellence is evident in every project Tasman Bay Builders undertakes, providing clients with the highest standards of craftsmanship and service.
Diverse and Comprehensive Experience
Bruce’s extensive experience includes four years as a tutor at Nelson’s NMIT Carpentry Division, where he assessed approximately 50 apprentices. He contributed to the Christchurch post-earthquake rebuild for six years, completing over 30 renovations, including lifting houses and repiling. In Auckland, Bruce managed and employed 120 staff for New Zealand’s largest renovation, converting the old Farmers building into 300 apartments. This diverse background equips Bruce with unparalleled expertise to handle any building project.
